Shower

Its finally weekend! And in case you don't know - it's Halloweeeen tomorrow!!

I woke up early as I had my last midterm today. Then I studied. This was my breakfast.

Thanks to yesterday's grocery shopping we have some fruit back in stock wich makes my porridge even better. So I spend my whole morning being busy with studying and looking for Hawaii accommodations. We were allowed to take one cheatsheet with us to the exam. So Andrea and I each prepared a piece of paper which looked like this:

This was our lunch before we left for the exam - you spot my fancy white socks? ;-)

After the exam I skyped with Kiki - so proud of her that she got a job in London!! You rock girl!

A little thursday inspo from Instagram:

Peace out - SF calling!

Cool kids

Sooo today - it's wednesday - yeahyeahyeah. Actually there is no particual reason to be excited about wednesday but I am just in a very good mood!

Sooo I woke up way too early than I wanted to wake up, had breakfast then studied. Andrea and I did laundry in the morning as a study break then we studied again. Tomorrow we have another midterm and hell I have no idea how this one will be. Way too much reading stuff and analysis questions. I went grocery shopping with the guys in the afternoon and then we had class.

Because it was sooo hoooot and I was a bit freaking out about the miderm:

Two shopping carts are better than one:

Stephan cooked Pasta for all of us - thanks!

The day was soooo not spectacular again but at least the weather was freaking good! Super hot again! But no time for the pool. At least I was able to chill in the sun in our living room ;-)

Paradise

Today was soooo unspectular believe me!

I woke up late, then studied, then wrote yesterdays blog post, then studied again, went to the gym, back to studying and then I had class. We have to hand in some initial paper until wednesday with our group project. Groupwork here is totally different than in Germany... everything goes crazy and not really organized and totally lastminute. Okaaaay!

Took exactly 2 pics today:

And in case you forgot:

Thriller

Yesterday we spend mostly the whole day studying. Then we cooked together with Tom, Sarah and Hera a nice thai curry aaaand in the evening we went to an amusement park which is called "Great America". It is not far from our place, around a 40 minute drive to Santa Clara. This was another fun trip organized by the international office and we where 56 students in total to go there. As Halloween is coming closer the whole park was decorated with webs and spiders and so on. Haunted Houses are very popular here. It is like a creepy house where you have to walk through and everywhere is fog, it is dark and people scare the sh*t out of you with their bloddy faces and knifes running towards you... I even had to get out of one haunted house where there where bloody puppets hanging from the roof, reminded me too much of a butcher. Sarah, Meikel and Hera are pretty fearless but I am the big Halloween sissy... Parents take their small children with them which are around 5 years old but noway I am never ever going into one of these haunted houses again... So here is yesterday in pics:

Downtown love

Yesterday we came home pretty late again so tadaaa here is yesterday's post.

We woke up, had breakfast then went to Silicon Valley. We drove with 2 cars and our first stop was google. They have a lot of bikes on their campus and no sign "Do not take them" so we took some and drove around for a bit. Until some security guy told us to leave them... ooops :-) At least we made some cool pics and it was fun to drive around with the bikes instead of walking.

Breakfast:

On our way to the bank to get a new cheque for the next rent:

 Hochschule Neu-Ulm goes Google!

Our next stop was Facebook - where there was really - nothing!! I didn't even saw the thumbs sign but nevermind. Then we continued to go to Apple where we didn't see much too - hahaa! Our organization is so goood sometimes ;-)

Then we went to San Jose where we walked around a bit and visited the campus. It was great weather again and I really liked our group trip.

As it was Benni's last evening with us we went to SF again to drink some cocktails. Great day!! Thanks Benni for the good times, hope to see you soon!

PS: In case you never heard of G-Eazy - you better check it out... Freaking good music!!!

I mean it

Its saturday morning and I am sitting in my PJs in bed blogging... yesterday I came home real late so I decided to blog today.

Yesterday morning we made a huuuuge breakfast so Benni feels home ;-) Then we, Andrea, Benni and myself, drove with the rental car to SF. It was really good to have a car with us so we were able to go from one sightseeing point to the next one. We started with the Twin Peaks where the view is breathtaking. The sky was blue - jackpot!

From fridays party... we are drinking Hawaiian beer!

Then we continued to the bridge which was totally in fog. I like that, its more authentic for SF and who the hell always needs blue skys? ;-) We got some coffee and continued our sightseeing tour.

We had lunch at the cheescake factory, then separated. I went shopping and Andrea and Benni went to Chinatown.

It took us quite long to get home as the traffic was aweful. But we made it in time and I went to the movies and watched Birdman. Strange but interesting movie. Today we are planning on going to Silicon Valley to see the google headquarters but it is raining...
