Sand in my shoes

Yesterday was our last day in Portland. We woke up late then went for breakfast to this supergreat spot called "mother's". In case you ever visit Portland I highly recommend you to go there!!! We had an amazing breakfast :-)

We were craving something sweet so we went to Vodoo doughnuts agaiiiin.

After the breakfast we went shopping. Thanks to the tax free situation I bought 2 pairs of shoes and a bag... Ooopsie. In case you feel as if you have enough shoes or bag, something must be wrong with you and I recommend you go see a doctor ;-)

Then we drove to the airport. Our flight seemed to be on time... well it seemed to be on time. In the end we waited a loooong time and instead of originally departing at 6.55pm we started to leave the airport at 10.25pm. In San Francisco was really bad weather and it was really foggy. The two landingstrips they have are very close together so when the weather starts getting worse, they close one strip. Bad for us. We wasted time going to Starbucks, watching movies and being bored as hell. Of course our flight was awful and really bumpy. I was very glad when we arrived back in SF. We took an UBER to get home and I went to bed at around 2am. After 4h of sleep my alarm woke me up - but that's another story which you can read in the next post.
