Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer!: Blank Space

Todaaaaay was the day - the start of travelling! We had to get up sooo early at around 6am because at 9am was our flight from San Francisco to Portland. There we took a rental car and drove to Seattle. We are Gizem, Gerardo, Meikel and me. Meikel didn't go to Seattle with us in the car because he had to emigrate to Canada and get back in the States with another visa. We kept our fingers crossed that it worked! And it did! Sooo we had this longass drive from Portland to Seattle in a very, very tiny car. I drove all the way because I was the one who booked the car and the only insured person. But driving in Seattle was kind of tough so I was glad that Gerardo took over the car. We made a stop at a mexican restaurant which we got recommended by the owner of our airbnb. The portions were huuuge and Gerardo said that this was very traditional food his mum cooks too.

Sooo after another 1.5h drive we finally arrived at our airbnb which is really nice. It's a bit outside of the city center but we drove by car and it only took us 20 minutes. So the distance is fair! We went grocery shopping so we have something for breakfast tomorrow. Then we drove with the car to downtown and walked to the waterfront. As it was 5pm then it was already dark and the christmas decoration everywhere was shining. Nice! We saw the ferry wheel and strolled at the waterfront. Then we went to the pike market which was already more or less closed - really?? On a friday evening?? Whatever! We continued with a visit to the first Starbucks, then we walked around a bit before picking Meikel up at the airport. Now the others are cooking while I am blogging!
