All I want for christmas

Spend another crazy day in Portland. It is soooo unbelievable cold - you can't imagine. So after having breakfast which we found of consisted only of fresh bread and peanut butter and hot beverages we went to the city again. Portland seems to be pretty small so we are able to walk almost all distances. We went through the pearl district first, then did some shopping. After that we were hungry again so we looked up a nice bakery which wasn't that far away. That place was amazing!! I got a small sandwich, a muffin and a tea for 7$ - hellyeaaaah!

After warming up we went to the university district and from that we walked all the way to the Washington park.

We originally wanted to go to the Japanese garden, but in winter they close at 4pm and when we arrived there it was 4.10pm. But lucky us the zoo is located in the park too and at 5pm the Zoolights start there. The whole zoo is full with lights and there even is a train running trough the park. It was super, super cold but the lights were great!! When we left, the line of people entering the park was insane! Felt as if whole Portland woke up to go to the zoo...

Even the "Bremer Stadtmusikanten" made it to Portland!!

We finished our almost last day with some nice burgers. Everyone in the US uses the app which is called "Yelp", never heard of it before in Germany. It helps you find nice places with great reviews of everything. So we went to the burger place called "killerburger" and it was great!

We already decided where to go for breakfast tomorrow, for a REAL breakfast! Good night from icy Portland.
