We can't stop - we won't stop

New York City Day 3! We started the day with a quick visit of the Flatiron building which I thought was pretty fascinating.

After that we went to the Museum of modern Art. From Gustav Klimt to Picasso and Frida Kahlo - they have everything! The Moma is definitely the place where the cool kids hang out!!

Also the Moma has a great garden which is very nice for chilling!

Leaving the Moma we were hungry like wolves - and went to Koreatown. You can take the girl out of Korea but not Korea out of the girl ;-)

As we wanted to visit a Broadway Musical we went to the Times Square. There they sell tickets for up to -50%. We were lucky and got our hands on tickets for the musical Matilda. After getting the tickets we went to Chinatown. It's a great place if you wanna buy some cheesy souvenirs - but as our bags are already totally full we skipped that part. From Chinatown we went to Little Italy and then to Soho - it was a 100 miles walk today again... In Little Italy there was a small festival with lots of food to buy.

Theeen it was time for the musical! In case you have the chance to see Matilda in Germany - or any other place you are now reading from - GO WATCH IT! Seriously! Serious, seriously -
it was A M A Z I N G!! You get it?!! The main performer is a little girl which is max 10 years old! When you see that you have so much respect for the whole musical thing! I really enjoyed it! We payed so much less than in Germany and even though we didn't have the best seats - to admit we were sitting front row - it was sooo worth it!!

To get back to our subway station we had to pass Times Square at night - quite a nice view ;-)

Tomorrow we are leaving for Washington - stay tuned!

As I am not able to personally say "Happy Birthday" I want to wish two persons all the best:

My sister - cheers to another 3 quarter centuries of annoying me and letting me borrow your clothes. Even though we fight sometimes I kind of like you ;-)

Also happy birthday goes to Andrea's Dad Manfred - hope you have great time in Turkey!!

New York Tag 3!
