Someone like you

San Francisco visit number 3! We woke up quite early - at least way too early for Sunday - and went to SF again. Thought this would be a good idea before university starts tomorrow and all of us are busy... Just hope this definitely will NOT happen but you never know!

Drove with the bus to the Bart station and went to SF by train. There we took the bus to get to the chestnut street which is a really relaxed area with lots of cafes and small shops.

They even had a bookstore - the first one I saw in the US so far!! Bought a map of Cali for our roadtrip in January.

As the weather wasn't as good as we hoped it would be we sat down for our 2nd breakfast / lunch for a loooong time! 

After the food feast we went to the beach again but the view could have been better...

Then we walked to Pier 39 where these peeps live... definitely felt them today as they probably had their best snooze ;-)

Then we did a bit of tourist shopping in the shops there. Bought a cup of SF.

At the pier a young man was singing... pretty impressive! Someone like you never sounded so good!

Then we walked - again - back to the Bart station where we came across this "small" cruiser...

Now we are back at the apartment and Stephan and Tom (our German neighbour) are cooking dinner for us - life could be worse ;-)
