Uptown Funk

Yesterday I woke up super late and had my usual breakfast.

Then Gerardo and I went to buy a birthday present for his roomie Alex. We went to a mall in Pleasanton and after that to Livermore. I tried several jeans but none of them conviced me. On Friday was black friday so there are still a lot of discounts. We stopped at a grocery store to buy all the ingredients for a cake and started baking that at home. This is how it turned out ;-) Happy birthday Alex!

For dinner we had mexican leftovers.

Tuesday

Yesterday I came home late again so here is what happened yesterday.

I woke up late and had this huuuuge breakfast once again.

Then Gerardo and I drove together with his brother to see his family again. When we arrived we had Margaritas with a cousin of them which was so much fun. Happy hour oleeee ;-) It was my first Margarita and I have to admit I was kind of tipsy after it. Of course there were tons of food included yesterday. Totally in love with all that mexican food!! Gerardos mum made ceviche which is some sort of raw fish copped together with veggies. On top comes loooots of lemon which cause that over night the fish isn't raw anymore it tastes like cooked! OMG!! So gooood!! That was only one of the things I loved ;-)

Thankful

Yesterday was Thanksgiving and I was in bed super late...

Woke up late and had a huuuuge breakfast.

Then I drove with Gerardo to his family which arrived at his uncles house from San Diego. We ate all day ;-) Didn't wanna to interrupt family moments to make pictures but believe me, the turkey was a huge one!! It was a great day and my stomach felt happily full after it. Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!

Bailando

Today I woke up early, had breakfast and an exam in my law course.

I thought it was cold so I wore sooo many clothes but while walking to university I started sweating like a pig! Such great weather for the 27th of November...

Gerardo and I went to Panera after class again! Yessss!!

I spent my whole afternoon taking pics of all our furniture and put them on craigslist. Keeping our fingers crossed that someone will end up buying all our stuff...

Gerardo made tacos at night which were AMAZING as always!

Roar

I woke up late, had breakfast then started again to get some stuff done.

Yesterday in our course we had a nice talk in my group about how they all manage to study and work and some of my group members even have kids. This makes you feel automatically like "Do I really have problems??" because they for sure have bigger ones... It was cool to hear from them very honest how they handle everything and they really work soooo much compared to a job student's have in Germany. Some even have to handle the mortgage of their parent's home. In case I ever say again I have problems, I am gonna punch myself! Welcome to reality Ines...

After my purchasing course in the evening, Gerardo picked me up and took me to PJ's a nice restaurant ;-) I had a very delicious burger and some nice fries! Yummyyyy!!

Tomorrow I have a final exam in law, gonna prepare for that a bit, then go to sleep! Good night!

I am a pizza

Today I woke up late, my flu got a bit better - Yeah! I bought a nice granola yesterday which I had for breakfast. Then I studied until Gerardo picked me up to get some pizza - that's when my monday got wayyyy better!! I had class at night and these are the only two pics I took the whole day.

I woke up suuuuper late and heeey flu - welcome back... So I went to sleep after breakfast again. Originally I wanted to join the others for a trip to San Francisco but thanks to my flu I wasn't able. So I chilled the whole day, took long naps and hope it will get better by tomorrow...

Je ne regrette rien

Today I woke up, had breakast or at least started with it. I ate the rest of my porridge while driving with Andrea, Gerardo and Hong to San Francisco. It rained like hell when we woke up, but became pretty sunny and warm in SF.

We separated at Union Square and Andrea and I went to CVS which is like a DM store in Germany. We are running out of cosmetics and bought some stuff there.

Then Gerardo picked us up again and we went to Dolores Park. There we went to a french bakery - HEAVEN! Sooo good! The small store looked like all the pics I've seen from Paris, definitely have to go there...

 After Dolores we drove to the hidden steps and after that home.

Now we just had dinner:

Happy birthday!

Yesterday I woke up late, had breakfast, then started to get some stuff done... Andrea and I finally decided on a final route of our roadtrip in January.

We had leftovers for lunch. And yeah these are my feet... ;-) Everyone is making fun of me because standing on a chair you are able to get better pics of the food ;-)

It was Hong's birthday yesterday, so we took him to "Buffalo Bill's Brewery" to eat some burgers and to the movies. The Buffalo Bills was really crowded so we had to wait almost 2 hours to get a table. Meanwhile we went for a beer to the Funky monkey. But instead of a beer we got 3 pinchers :-D We were almost starving when our table was ready but the burgers were really gooood! They came in a pretzel bun which is like the highlight of a week for a German girl ;-)

After the burgers we went to see Mockingjay which was very good but also quite brutal compared to the other parts so far. Nevertheless, I liked it!

Hong, happy birthday! Hope you had a great day! Really enjoyed celebrating it with the whole crew!

Yesterday I was too lazy and tired to blog... very sorry!

I woke up and was feeling slightly better. I had breakfast which took me 2h to eat. When I am sick I am not really hungry...

It was pouring yesterday the whole time. Never seen so much rain here in California! Very unusual but good for the nature. So I was glad that Tom drove us to class! Thanks Tommy ;-)
I handed in my second assignment in the purchasing course. Never told you the good news: all courses I take I get credit for in Germany - woopwoop! Very happy about that! It wasn't quite sure because some courses always have somehow same materials like when I take purchasing it also includes supply chain management but my home university saw that overall its's something different!

After class Gerardo picked me up and we chilled before going to grab some pizza and watching a movie. We watched "Another woman" with Kate Upton and Cameron Diaz. I liked it, it was funny. And as I haven't eaten until breakfast I was starting to starve... Yummy pizzaaaaa! And yeah I ate more than what's on the pic ;-)

 Today it's finally fridaaaay - yeahyeah!

Dancing on my own

Yesterday I woke up with a flu... not goood... I drank tons of tea and had so many naps... starting to feel better a bit. At least I have an excuse to start watching GIRLS - such a great serie!!

Gerardo was the biggest babe yesterday and cooked me chicken-noodle-soup - yesss he cooked that for meee! It was sooo gooood! Thank you ;-)

Lately we have to eat a lot of times sitting on the floor... Someone is always sitting on the table studying but I don't mind eating on the floor, it's kind of cool to sit there ;-)

I really like that Gerardo has started to learn German... now I realize what a creepy and difficult language it is!

We had an exam yesterday evening and after that we got to know Tom's mum Namira. So they made a huuuuge burrito feast and we played "What's my name" with post-its on our heads. I was Mickey mouse and pretty tough to find out. Thanks Namira for the Adventskalender!

Pumped up kicks

I woke up late with a sore throat - not good... Had breakfast, did some studying.

In the afternoon Gerardo took me to Panera. This time I was sooo tired that I totally forgot to take a picture of my food - sorry for that!

My new kicks are cooler than yours!

My flu got worse and now the only thing I want to do is fall asleep immediately... Good night!

Like I Can

Sooo today I woke up, had breakfast then started to study. At 11 we decided to have a second breakast... My second name is hungry, my first name is always ;-)

 We started to eat our German treats which will be gone very soon ;-) Feels like Christmas!

After class I went to the gym.

Gerardo brought me a very nice cinnamon roll which was just sooo freaking gooood! I warmed it up and OMG!!! Yessss!!!
