Pancake Party

Yesterday was the first night I wasn't able to blog even though I hadn't been out. I was just way too tired to type anything. I spend the whole day studying and getting stuff done. Actually the plan was to go to San Francisco but I decided to skip that to avoid trouble with my schedule.

So I had breakfast in the morning, blogged about the night before, then started with my assignment.

We have a lot of stuff to read for upcoming classes but after a few hours I couldn't concentrate anymore and went to Gizem's and Gerardo's apartment who made brunch with their whole apartment. Pancakes, eggs, sausages, fried potatoes - yessss!

After that I studied a bit more, then went to the gym and then we planed a few things for Portland and Seattle where we are going soon...

Don't tell 'em

Yesterday we woke up, had breakfast and then Andrea, Gizem, Gerardo and I went to the farmer's market in Hayward. We bought loooots of veggies and I tried a nice coffee with cinnamon cream - yesss!

Then we went to the Marina Mall where there is a big Nike store. Heaven!! After that we went to the Southland Mall which isn't that good and we were all exhausted from walking around. Between the two malls we made stop and Panera again.

In the evening we went grocery shopping as our fridge was empty. We ate leftovers, then I went out with Gerardo, Gizem and their apartment. We went to Santa Clara to a nightclub which is called Taste. Fun evening!

Yesterday I received mail from back home: my parents probably think I don't get food here ;-) Nevertheless, thank you mum for shipping these treats to the states! There even were small gifts for my roomies in there who said thanks a lot! Thank you mutti!!! You are the best!

Jingle bells

Today we woke up early as Andrea and I went to San Francisco to do some christmas shopping. And of course some shopping for ourselves ;-)

We went to the Westfield Center which is located at the Bart station and went through all the shops which took us around 4 hours.

Xmas in the states means kitsch overload. There is christmas music everywhere, you get hell a lot of discounts and everyone starts to go crazy.

We made stop at a Thai noodle house where we have been a few times before for lunch.

After lunch we walked to Chinatown where I bought some souvenirs to take back home with me. We walked back to the Union Square where there is a biiiig Xmas tree and you can ice-skate there too.

After a quick stop at a froyo place and some more shopping we felt very exhausted and drove back to Hayward.

Tomorrow the shopping continous as we will go to some malls ;-) Life is gooood!

Basketball

Sooo today I woke up late, had breakfast then started to work on my assignment which is due next thursday...

I had a quick break to do some sports, then I studied again.

In the evening I went with Gerardo to a Golden State Warriors game. The Warriors are a NBA team and played against the Brooklyn Nets. The game was in the Oracle Arena in Oakland. It was amazing! Great atmosphere and hell a lot of fun!! And Hulk Hogan was there too ;-) Before the game we went out for dinner...

Backseat freestyle

Thank god it's the weekeeeend!

Today I woke up at around 8am and had breakfast.

I had class until 12am, made dinner then studied. The weather was great, it was sunny but not so warm.

At around 3pm I was bored of studying and went with Gerardo to get some coffee.

I had class at 6pm again and met with my group afterwards. Our project is due soon...

Today I received a text from Caro ;-) It was too funny, not to share! Thank you Caro ;-)

Something in the water

I woke up late, did yesterdays post then had breakfast. After that I did some studying.

I was bored after a while so I went to the gym. Felt good, haven't been there in a while! Today is Veteran's Day which means no university and public holiday for the office workers. Good day to relax!






















After the gym I was craving some noodels and we made Spaghetti. Gerardo made some cake and brought me this... hell yeah!!

Everybody

Yesterday got a bit late again so here is yesterdays post...

I woke up late and Gerardo and I went do Denny's for breakfast. They had pancake bowls which were soooo gooood!

I studied a bit in the afternoon and had class at 6pm. Before class, Meikel and Andrea made dinner.

Then we went out to the "Funky monkey" which is a bar in Hayward. On monday they have karaoke. Check this out:

We ended with a nice pizza at 2am and I slept like a baby the whole night.
