Love me harder

Today I had to get up way too early as I wanted to, buuuut as I had my more or less last chance to go to San Francisco I was willing to get up early. So I had breakfast, then Gerardo took Andrea, Evi and me to the BART station.

When we arrived in SF we did some shopping first as we needed some christmas presents. We had a nice pizza pretzel with cheese in the Westfield Center. Then we drove with the old cable car version to the Castro area. There are really cool houses and I really liked it there. Castro is called the "gay area" but they had cool stuff like the urban mistletoe where people can kiss under it. All of us bought the same handbag there which is like a tote with a SF Logo on it. A great souvenir from my last visit!

Then we went to Dandelion Chocolate which is like a really, really cool place to get hot chocolate and eat some sweet treats. Highly recommend it! After buying some christmas wrapping paper we went home. I spend around one hour to wrap all presents I have until now.

We ordered Indian food for dinner, then a girl came and bought or sofa, pans, two tables and hangers from us - FINALLY! Still have to sell our big kitchen table, hope someone want to buy it...

Then we ran some errands in the store and we got us some chocolate which was simply amazing!

We just watched the new Victoria's Secret Fashionshow while eating nachos with guacamole - yeah!
Good night world! Tomorrow ist my last visit to San Francisco...

What's luv

Today I woke up late with great news from my ex-boss that I am hired again for 6 months when I come back home. So I was awake immediately I read his mail and almost freaking out of joy!! Suuuper excited!

For breakfast I had leftover French Toast from my visit to Mama's and ate some fruit and porridge. Then I tried some fresh cranberries which turned out to be super sour. But I liked it!

Everyone had to study but I handed in my last assignment at 11am and that means - no more to do's concerning university!! FANTASTIC! After finishing the assignemnt I drove Tom with Gerardo's car to the repair shop. Then I went to the cashier at the university to file for getting some money back. As I took the law course which is cheaper than the others I am getting money back. But unfortunately they will send a check and as I don't have an american bank account this might get expensive... we will see!
When I came back from university, Gerardo started to cook dinner or more like a late lunch. It was pasta with fish which was really, really good!

I took a nice nap after eating, then went to the gym. Tomorrow I am going to start what to do when we are in Portland and Seattle. Only a few more days left!!

99 problems...

...but to ride the cable car ain't one!

This morning I got up super early as Andrea, Meikel, Evi, Sarah and I went to San Francisco. We had a tough schedule so we took the BART at around 9am. The first thing we did was a visit to the Coit Tower. Even though it is not with open windows but with glass you have a great view over the city! I liked it!

Then Evi, Sarah, Meikel and I walked to the Pier to ride the cable car. We thought we would wait ages but lucky us there was nearly no one on the cable car and we were also allowed to stand outside! Yeaaah jackpot! We took like a million pictures and tons of selfies.

We got off at Union Square, met Andrea again and went to the Cheescake Factory for lunch. This was our birthday present for Meikel a few weeks ago and we finally made it!! Wohooo!

We booked a night tour to Alcatraz a few weeks in advance so Meikel, Sarah and I went from Union Square with an Uber to the pier again. The Alcatraz ferry takes you to the island in around 20 minutes. Alcatraz was a really cool place! Kind of scary as it went to be darf very quickly and kind of disgusting because it's superold, dirty and a weird place. But it was definitely worth seeing it! We had an audio tour which was around 45 minutes. Lucky us again there was an Ei Weiwei exhibition at Alcatraz with audio and video installations. Kind of weird to hear one of his installations in the old hospital wing with old x-ray machines... Spooooky!

We r on a boat!!!!

The most amazing thing about Alcatraz is that you have an amaaaazing view to SF at night! Hell yeah!!

After the ferry landed back in San Francisco, we did some souvenir shopping, grabbed a coffee and went back to Hayward by BART - great day!!
